The one name recruitment leaders kept coming back to

At the recent TRN (The Recruitment Network) Retreat, we noticed something. When recruitment leaders talked about which tools and strategies were actually worth their time, one name came up again and again.

Vanessa Raath.

And it turns out we were not the only ones paying attention. Vanessa was recently named one of just 25 honourees on The Industry Leaders' Top Recruiters & Talent Acquisition Leaders of 2026, recognised alongside the most influential people in the profession.

Why Vanessa's word carries weight

If you work in talent acquisition, you already know why she made that list. Vanessa is a talent sourcing trainer, AI literacy coach and keynote speaker who has trained more than 8,000 recruiters across 100+ countries since launching her practice in 2019. In the past year alone she delivered talks on AI in recruitment across five continents, from Talent Acquisition Week in San Diego to Recruiters Unite in Cape Town, and ran weekly AI workshops for recruiters throughout the year. Her January 2026 piece, Global Recruitment: 5 Bold Predictions, was among the most shared pieces of recruitment content of the year.

The Industry Leaders described her as a genuinely global voice rooted in practical, no-BS training. That is exactly why recruitment leaders turn to her. She tests things properly and only points people towards what actually holds up. That kind of trust is not handed out easily, and it is not bought. It is earned.

Why this matters to us

So we were proud to learn that Magnate has made it onto Vanessa's list of tried and tested AI tools, and is now a recommended supplier for recruitment teams.

For a young company, being included by someone with Vanessa's standing is not a vanity badge. It is a signal to recruiters that Magnate has been looked at closely by someone who does not recommend lightly, and that it does what it says.

What recruiters actually get back

Recruitment moves at the speed of the conversation. The best recruiters win by staying close to candidates and clients, not by living in their inbox chasing times and rescheduling calls.

That back and forth is exactly what Magnate takes off their plate. Working right inside Outlook and Gmail, Magnate handles the scheduling and the follow-ups so interviews get booked faster and fewer good candidates slip through the gaps. Recruiters get their hours back for the work that actually builds relationships and closes placements.

Because in the end, the relationship is the product. Everything Magnate does is meant to protect the time recruiters spend building those relationships, not replace it.

If your team is buried in scheduling

If your recruiters are spending too much of the day sorting out calendars and chasing replies, there is a better way to run it.

Take a look at Vanessa's tried and tested tools list to see where Magnate sits, or send us a message and we will show you what getting those hours back looks like for your team.
